The Royal Engagement of Meghan Markel and Prince Harry

Meghan Markle,36, who played a character of Rachel Zane in, American tv series ‘Suits’ is now engaged to Prince Harry,33. Prince Harry is a younger son of Prince Charles and Lady Diana.

Meghan described the proposal very romantic and told that the prince got on one knee to propose her she said ‘Yes’ even before Harry finished the proposal.

In October 2016 it was reported that the two were dating each other but it was announced a month later in November. Prince Harry didn’t give his head to the reports earlier because according to him he was concerned about her security. The made their first official public appearance in September 2017.

Meghan Markle is an American, who first married American film producer Trevor Engelson in 2011. That wedding could not last long and they both divorced just after two years of wedding. Whereas, Prince Harry was a British military man who served in the military for 10 years. In this span, he made two tours to Afghanistan during the war. He is also the 5th successor to the throne.

Last time an American divorcee married in a British royal family was back in 1937 when King Edward VIII married Baltimore’s, Willis Simpson. This marriage was so dishonorable that king had to leave his throne to live with the love of his life in Paris.

Reportedly, both are to be married in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Chapel. The Royal family will bear all the expenses of the wedding.
