Imran Khan is now a member of ‘Joota Club’ of Pakistan.
A recent wave of throwing shoes or ink on politicians has been on the rise in Pakistan. Earlier a show as thrown at Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, three times former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and now Imran Khan.
Imran Khan was out in Gujrat for a membership campaign when a shoe was hurled at him. This shoe didn’t hit Imran Khan but went on to Aleem Khan, standing on Khan’s side.
When a shoe was thrown at Nawaz Sharif, Khan gave a statement that “I was a cricketer so I can catch and throw well.”
Things Hurled At PMLN Leaders:
Khawaja Asif, the foreign minister of Pakistan, was delivering a speech at an event of PMLN Sialkot when a person from audience rose and threw a bottle of black ink on his face.
This recent trend was started from Ahsan Iqbal when he was attending an event in Narowal. At this event, a shoe hurled at interior minister but he was never touched by that shoe.
Mian Nawaz Sharif:
When Mian Sahab went to Jamia Naeemia for an event a shoe was hurled at him just as he came to the dice for speech. The person was then arrested and presented before the court next day.

Whenever a shoe was thrown at PMLN leaders the person throwing the shoe raised a slogan of “Labaik Ya Rasool Allah” which tells that the reason for this throwing of a shoe is the religious sentiments. The religious sentiments broke when the PMLN’s government of Pakistan amended the law of ‘Finality of Prophethood’.
When a shoe was hurled at Nawaz Sharif this weekend his political opponents condemned that act. Also, the general public is not accepting this. Most are of the view that, a very bad precedent is being set.
Highly condemnable ! Shoe hurled at Nawaz Sharif at Jamia Naemia, Lahore. Yesterday Kh Asif, earlier Ahsan Iqbal. What is this pattern going on ? Who are doing it ? Don’t lead the already morally-fragile nation to a new low ! We need to learn : disagree not disrespect !

Ink attack on Khawaja Asif and shoe attack on Nawaz Sharif. It is getting dirtier and desperate by the day. Now no one will be safe. This is the new ploy. Very very sad.

Shoe attack on Nawaz Sharif or throwing ink on Khwaja Asif is highly offensive, such incidents have to be unequivocally condemned!
