The ‘Silver Lining Playbook’ star Jennifer Lawrence speaks up of sexual misconduct of which she had been a victim in 2014. Jennifer Lawrence’s iCloud account was hacked and her nude photos were made public on the web.
On Monday in her interview with Hollywood Reporter, she said, “In the early days of my career I was told by the producer to lose 15 pounds in three weeks and that one actress had already been fired for failing to lose weight”. She further added that “I was then told by a producer to do a nude line-up with 5 much thin women than me”. Lawrence then added, “I was then advised to use that photoshoot for inspiration on my diet ”.
She added that ” It was very embarrassing and humiliating for me, that you can’t even put it in words”. She further said, “I think, like, a year and a half ago, somebody said something to me about how I was ‘a good role model for girls,’ and I had to go to the bathroom and sob because I felt like an imposter.”
According to her, she had been approached by other women who were affected by harassment, to sue the apple, but she didn’t put her head in that because she knew it won’t bring relief to her.
Earlier this year the hacker behind this case, Edward Majerczyk, had been imprisoned for nine months and to pay $5700 in restitution for counseling of one celebrity victim. Hacker Edward was accused of leaking private information of 30 celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence. He used phishing scheme for illegally accessing more than 300 emails of celebrities.
While talking on Harvey Weinstein, producer accused of harassing women, she said she had no harassment experience with Harley Weinstein, with whom she worked five years ago. She further added that she was deeply hurt after listening to the whole Harvey Weinstein thing.
